On 27 August 2026, FIXimate moves to a new technology platform.
FIXimate has long been the industry’s primary resource for browsing and exploring the FIX Protocol. This move represents an important step in ensuring that FIX remains accessible and able to support the evolving needs of the global trading community.
What changes?
From a user perspective, the transition has been designed to be as seamless as possible.
- FIXimate will remain available at fiximate.fixtrading.org, so you can continue to access it as you do today. Existing links and bookmarks will continue to work.
- The new platform will provide interactive access to FIX Latest, the current and authoritative version of the FIX Protocol, as well as the two supported legacy versions, FIX 4.2 and FIX 4.4. Other FIX versions remain available through the FIX Trading Community website.
- Users will notice changes to the interface and new features as FIXimate moves to the new platform, while the core browsing and search experience remains.
Why the change?
The move to a modern, hosted platform provides a more sustainable foundation for the long-term evolution of the FIX Protocol. It enables us to deliver new capabilities and support a wider range of use cases by making greater use of FIX Orchestra, while making machine-readable FIX standards more accessible and consumable across a growing range of tools and applications.

- Ability to publish and browse your own FIX specifications and dialects alongside the official FIX Standard, with the same powerful search and exploration experience as FIXimate.
- Support for richer specifications through Orchestra, including message variants, multiple encodings, and the ability to work with proprietary and non-FIX standards such as ISO 20022.
- Ready for future integration with your own LLMs and agents, enabling them to work directly with machine-readable FIX standards.
