Chicago FIX Forum 2026 – Bringing Industry Leaders Together
FIX Trading Community would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who joined us for the Chicago FIX Forum 2026.
Hosted by Connamara Systems, the forum brought together representatives from the buy-side, sell-side, exchanges, technology providers and market infrastructure firms for an afternoon of thought-provoking discussion and industry collaboration. We are grateful to our host for welcoming the community and helping to facilitate another successful FIX regional event.
The programme featured a FIX Trading Community update, a fireside chat with Marta Norton, Chief Investment Strategist at Empower, and a panel discussion exploring the evolution of event contracts and prediction markets, including the considerations required to support broader institutional participation. Discussions reflected the rapid pace of innovation across financial markets and the importance of industry collaboration in addressing emerging opportunities and challenges.
A special thank you to our speakers and panellists, including Mike Gatny, Joanna Herrick, Marta Norton, Ian Grieves, John Schneider, Supreet Dhillon, Scott Govoni and George Rosenberger, for sharing their expertise and perspectives with attendees.
We would also like to thank all delegates who attended and contributed to the conversations throughout the afternoon. The quality of engagement, questions and networking demonstrated once again the value of bringing the industry together to exchange ideas and shape the future of electronic trading.
