Xavier Hoche is a financial markets professional with over 25 years of experience in operational management of trading teams.
He served as Chief Operating Officer at AXA Investment Managers from 2010 to 2024, where he coordinated global trading operations across multiple asset classes, including fixed income, equities, foreign exchange, derivatives and securities financing.
Xavier played a key role in implementing electronic trading platforms and auto-trading, and managed significant regulatory projects such as Brexit and MiFID II, from a front-office perspective.
Before this, Xavier was Head of Business Coordination at AXA Investment Managers (2004-2010), where he streamlined front-office processes.
Earlier in his career, Xavier held middle-office roles at Barclays and Union Bank of Switzerland, focusing on risk analysis and control for various trading desks.
Throughout his career, Xavier always had an eye for technical innovations fostering automation in financial markets, leveraging on technology and data science.
Xavier recently completed a coding bootcamp in data science and artificial intelligence at Le Wagon, and he also holds a master’s in international finance from H.E.C. and a computer science engineering degree from ENSIMAG.
