Joakim Anjou

Joakim Anjou, Head of Markets, Danske Bank Sweden

Joakim Anjou attained the position as Head of Markets in Sweden on the 1st of November 2014. Danske Bank’s financial markets operations cover debt capital markets, foreign exchange and money markets, structured products, fixed income and derivatives.

Joakim has over 23 years of experience in the financial markets, primarily within Fixed Income. His first position was with JP Bank in Stockholm working with Fixed Income Sales and he then joined Danske Bank Sweden in 1997. Since first joining Danske Bank, Joakim has held numerous managerial positions primarily within Fixed Income and International Sales.

Joakim is passionate about teamwork and strives to create a flat and dynamic corporate culture with a high focus on customer satisfaction. He has extensive experience and interest in matters concerning the functionality of the market place, especially in relation to regulations. Since May 2017, Joakim is Chairman of Penningmarknadsrådet, a part of Svenska Fondhandlareföreningen.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family in the archipelago. He is also fond of cooking and plays tennis, golf and ice hockey.
