William H. Hebert is a senior industry advisor and consultant working with various organizations and committees in both financial services and other industries. Throughout his career Mr. Hebert has been responsible for strategic technology, product and business development, electronic trading & trading systems technology, global market structure initiatives, client relationship management and strategic partnerships. Mr. Hebert served as managing director of the Financial Information Forum (FIF), partner and managing director at Alpha Omega Financial Systems, and as vice president and director of Strategic Development and Trading Solutions for Fidelity Capital Markets and the Institutional Products Group of Fidelity Investments, where he managed the various aspects of product strategy, business development and electronic trading solutions.
Prior to joining Fidelity, Hebert served in roles as director and business manager at Thomson Financial Services, vice president of Trading Systems Development for the Boston Stock Exchange and Systems Engineer and Group Manager for Electronic Data Systems in Dallas, TX and Boston, MA.
Mr. Hebert has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Stonehill College in Easton, MA and credits in graduate level studies in technology development from the Harvard University Extension School. He has served as a member and committee co-chair on various industry committees including the Financial Information Forum (FIF) Advisory Board, FIX Trading Community and the Editorial Board for the Global Trading industry journal. He is a partner at a Massachusetts Human Resources services outsourcing firm, HR2fit, and a member of the Stonehill College President’s Advisory Council.
